Idea Napkin No. 2

Hiya,

So here's my second attempt at the idea napkin. I didn't receive a lot of negative feedback or constructive criticism from the first attempt so my feedback points won't be super interesting but take a look! Please comment with what you think I can do better!

So as for the paragraph on whether or not I think some areas of my idea are out of wack with others, I would say that my idea falls in line pretty well with the other areas of the idea napkin. I have a pretty good understanding of who my customers are, what skills I need to make this successful, and who I am. I can definitly see that my technological skills are not up to the task of this business but my experience in business and leading people in politics could make up for this. Most business owners don't know how to do all of the aspects of their business anyways.

Feedback points:

  1. A lot people really like my idea and say that I should pursue it
  2. Only one person has brought up any mention of competitors (and that person sent me an awesome article that actually helped define my competition and how I can compete with them)
  3. No one seems to be aware that online reputation management sites already exist but that's okay since I'm targeting a unique market segment
  4. People seem to think that this idea is both beneficial and profitable
  5. My idea napkin seemed to go over swell! I think the visual representation really helped people understand my idea and myself.
This feedback led me to create an idea napkin that looked similar to my first one. The difference is that I took a more objective view of the competencies I have and found that I had a lot of the skills necessary to run a business. Technology acumen is still where I am lacking.

  1. Hey Cassandra, I really enjoyed reading over your post. You were so creative in actually writing your assignment on the napkin (paper), props for that. I must say that I agree with you. The concepts of your business idea are very well sorted out, from your understanding of who the customers are, to the skills needed. As an entrepreneur there are many aspects of your idea/business of which you will need help with, so don’t feel discourage. An entrepreneur can always seek for others help in order to complete all the needs the business requires. Also, you have some great competencies that will make you stand out from the rest. In terms of your idea napkin itself I believe that everything you stated is well described. I personally don’t see anything you can change and I really think your business could be utilized by many individuals. Great job. 2. Hello Cassandra,
First of all, I loved how creative you were with this assignment. Doing this in a actual paper and adding your personal touch is very creative and also helps define who you are. Secondly, I love tattoos too and one of my life goals is to travel all around the world. I believe that learning new cultures and familiarizing with them is very important. Furthermore, I love you business idea. There are so many people out there with no knowledge of what to do when these sorts of things happen. Also, providing a service where you not only help them by removing the unwanted content, but also provide some sort of guide and support as well as legal advice is amazing. I completely support your cause. Great job! Here is my business idea if you want to take a look at it http://berrvh.blogspot.com/2016/03/idea-napkin-no-2.html

  3. Hi, I liked reading your work however, maybe include a bigger (pixels) sized picture. That way I can see it clearer. Aside from that I think you did a good job with a personal and different side to your work. I say this due to your written work. It is the first time I have seen that on a blog. Feel free to check out my blog: http://phatblogz.blogspot.com

    Good job,

    Ben

  4. Hello Cassandra,
I really liked your idea, and that you made it look like an actual napkin. Just like you mentioned in your post, I do not think there are many companies who offer what you are offering. Targeting such a unique market gives you an advantage over more general business ideas, such as mine. I also liked how in detail you went while explaining your reasons on why you chose this specific idea.
